Upcoming Live Greatness + Z from Buffalo

While more and more bands just bore me to death these days, I'm happy to note that this will not be the case on at least three nights next month. On September 8th, the Cheater Slicks are headlining a five-band bill at P.A.'s Lounge. On September 21st and 22nd, Mr. Airplane Man are slated to do another pair of sets over at the Abbey Lounge. In honor of my buddy Z, I plan on being at all three shows with "Irish handcuffs" in place at least part of the time (it's OK, I won't drive).

By way of introduction, Z is a friend who moved back to Buffalo about a month ago. He likes chicken wings, the Cramps and crappy movies in no particular order, and that's just the C's! He's also the writer of the following Mr. Airplane Man/Cheater Slicks 7/31/04 guest review, which I yanked off a defunct list-serv he used to contribute to. Hope you enjoy the change of pace!
